A festival, not a forum.

The Quality of Life Festival is a project of Malecare, a leading cancer survivor and caregiver support nonprofit. It is open to adults with any cancer, any stage, anywhere.

Hospitals already have your charts. Support groups already have your worries. This place is for the rest of you — the hobby, the garden, the band you toured with in 1988, the soup you make for friends, the photograph of your daughter the morning she learned to ride a bike.

Each story has a one-line bio that mentions your cancer for context. The story itself has nothing to do with treatment. You stay anonymous unless you choose otherwise. Stories can be uploaded as text, audio, or video.  Files can be no larger than 300 MB.

Submissions are reviewed by a small editorial team and stay live for one year. You can renew, edit, or delete your story at any time.
